Description: A massive early 19th century Fijian ula throwing club with a large intricately carved head and tavatava carving to the handle. Below the head is a tally system comprising rows of dots.


Provenance: Formerly in the Smith family collection of the Maori Buried Village Museum, Rotorua, New Zealand.
